I'm incredibly glad 'DragonsAndBeasties' is out there, making her love for her adorable figures into a career.  I'm glad that via her popularity, we see more people working in clay and practicing and being inspired by her. But those outright copying her style and then sellin' that shit?  Not so good.  I emphasize, I'm really glad to see people inspired and learning things or new techniques from someone else's work is great practice.  I see a lot of outright ripoffs get posted in the Clay groups, often tagged with 'I did this as a commission!' or 'check out my etsy shop!' and honest to god you will be better served in the long term learning y

Jesus Christ, what's with all the generic white girl Witch Doctors?  Look, the fact that the class is based on a stereotype is one thing - although I admit that I like that the woman at least seems incredibly empathetic, involved, and gentle, possibly the most positive-acting character in D3, upending at least some of the tropes there. But then stripping the character of that unique look, behavior, and style, and pasting a couple skulls on some of the most generic cheesecake poses and passing that as homage?  Bullshit.  Absolute bullshit.

Do people actually want an honest opinion, right or wrong, or are we supposed to just say 'hey, nice' and leave?  Because some of the folders I watch get a lot of really wonkily posed digital art which is mostly nice but the poses are super wonky.  Like, not stylized wonky, but realistic fantasy art with some seriously screwed up positioning.  Showing off the boobs and butt, yeah, it gets tiring, but I get the context of some of these pieces - they're for IAP art farms where the point of the cards is the sexualization, whole other topic - but in the effort to show off the boobs and butt (or, occasionally dudecrotch, so hey, least there's that
